Exhibition application

The Association of Finnish Sculptors is a national organisation for Finnish professional sculptors, established in 1910. Our purpose is to advocate and present Finnish sculpture and spatial art in both Finland and internationally. The Association of Finnish Sculptors has about 520 members.

Galleria Sculptor is an artist-run contemporary art gallery located in the Helsinki city centre, maintained by the Association of Finnish Sculptors. Galleria Sculptor is the only gallery in Finland that focuses on presenting contemporary sculpture and spatial art. Its exhibition programme highlights the diversity of contemporary sculpting and offers new insights into spatial and three-dimensional artistic practices.

The exhibitions are selected by an Exhibition Committee, consisting of members of the Association of Finnish Sculptors. This year’s Exhibition Committee consists of Timo Aho, Kirsi Kaulanen, Jenni Tieaho, and Arja Kärkkäinen representing the executive board of the association.

All professional visual artists are eligible to apply for an exhibition at Galleria Sculptor. In our selection process, we emphasize applications that reflect the diversity and emerging trends in contemporary sculpture and spatial art.

We are committed to promoting equality and non-discrimination in all our operations. We aim to review applications without any presuppositions or biases.

More information about Galleria Sculptor and holding an exhibition can be found here.
