Exhibition application
The Association of Finnish Sculptors is a national organisation for Finnish professional sculptors, established in 1910. Galleria Sculptor – run by the Association – is the only gallery in Finland with a specific focus on sculpture and spatial art.
Galleria Sculptor’s programme is chosen through open calls held every year, and juried by an exhibition committee. The global call is open for all artists, artist groups, curators, and communities – no affiliation with the Sculptors’ Association is needed.
In its open call for the 2028 programme, Galleria Sculptor invites applicants to reflect on the potential of contemporary sculpture and spatial art as a social commentator, a challenger of established practices, and a vision of what contemporary sculpture might be in the future.
Applications must be submitted by the deadline using the application form below.
The application must include a single PDF file containing:
- Exhibition proposal (max. 1 page). Please also include in your plan why your exhibition should be presented at Galleria Sculptor.
- Portfolio (max. 10 pages) including photos of your works and any supporting visual material. Include works that are as recent as possible, accompanied by full details (artist, title, year, material, measurements).
- CV (max 2 pages). Also include information on upcoming shows.
Separate PDF documents can be combined with for example pdf join. Please name the PDF file: surname_name_Exhibition_Application_year.
