Association

The Association of Finnish Sculptors is a national organisation for Finnish professional sculptors, established in 1910. Our purpose is to advocate and present Finnish sculpture in Finland and internationally. As an expert organisation, we offer professional guidance and information on questions regarding sculpture and advocate for the professional, economic and social interests of sculptors.

The association maintains Galleria Sculptor as well as organises events, seminars and exhibition projects and takes part in, for example, art fairs.

The Association of Finnish Sculptors has about 520 members. Artists who are Finnish citizens or permanently based in Finland and have shown their competence as a professional sculptor qualify as members. The members are chosen on the basis of applications.

The Association of Finnish Sculptors is a member organisation of the Artists’ Association of Finland, together with Artists’ Association Muu, Union of Finnish Art Associations, Association of Finnish Printmakers, Finnish Painters’ Union and Finnish Photographic Artists’ Association.

In 2025, the Association of Finnish Sculptors and Galleria Sculptor are supported by Arts Promotion Center Finland, the City of Helsinki, Finnish Heritage Agency, Uudet klassikot Fund, and Gerda and Salomo Wuorio Foundation.
