Galleria Sculptor’s 45th anniversary on 21 September at 12–16

Welcome to celebrate the 45th anniversary of Galleria Sculptor, the sculptors’ own gallery, on 21 September at 12-16 (Eteläranta 12, Helsinki)!

We will offer birthday treats to our customers and the day will include an inspiring discussion about sculpture art and collecting.

PROGRAMME

13-14 | Perspective on art collecting: interview with blogger and influencer Jenni Rotonen (Pupulandia). Interview with producer Hanna Kuokka.

14-16 | Meet the artist! Come and visit the LOVECHILD exhibition by HEMULOORDI and meet the artist. HEMULOORDI is an artist who explores the phenomena of the contemporary world with their own bold and rich visual language.

In addition, gallery staff will be present in the Sculpture Shop to give you tips on both installing sculptures and finding different sculpture options to suit your wishes.

As a special birthday week offer from 16 to 22 September, we are offering a 10% discount on the works in the Sculpture Shop collection! The discount will be deducted from the gallery’s commission, and the artist will receive a full commission for their work.

The Association of Finnish Sculptors opened the Galleria Sculptor for the first time on September 17, 1979, in Helsinki. A gallery which would show sculpture art at a high level, from Finland and abroad, had been a central objective of the association since its foundation in 1910. The gallery, which moved to its current address to Eteläranta, in Helsinki, in 2000, has been an exhibition space where, throughout the decades, the public has been able to encounter new and diverse contemporary sculpture and get to know artists, especially those living and working in Finland.
